Ferrari AF Corse Steals Victory In Texas Late In Lone Star Le Mans

Nicklas Nielsen and Ferrari AF Corse are victorious in the 6 Hour Lone Star Le Mans in dramatic fashion for the first time this season, and since the 2025 season opener for the #50. This is also the second podium for the #50 Ferrari since the 6 Hours of Spa Francorchamps finishing that race in third position.

Ferrari become the third manufacturer to win a race this season. This victory for the Scuderia came in dramatic fashion as within the last fifteen minutes, the Toyota #7 of Nyck De Vries suffered a mechanical failure with loss of the hydraulic pressure, forcing him to retire the car after having dominating pace.

Jack Aitken after starting on the front row, finishes third on track, but is promoted up to the second position after the #35 Alpine of Charles Milesi recieves a penalty for an unsafe pit release. This is Cadillac's best result of the season.

Alpine & Cadillac are the only team to have both cars finish in the points. The #35 finishes in third with the #15 of Kevin Magnussen finishing in eighth. Cadillac picks up their first podium since Sao Paulo, finishing in second, and the #12 finishing in ninth place respectively.
